My ultimate travel bucket list destinations!

My ultimate travel bucket list destinations!

Although I could probably put almost every city in every country (not even kidding!) on my travel bucket list, I will stick to the ones that are calling my name the strongest. I would also love to hear your own travel bucket list destinations!

Tokyo, Japan
I’d love to visit Tokyo, not just because I have a deep passion for sushi, but because it seems like a crazy, chaotic city, with lots of culture. I can’t wait to stay in one of their ‘capsule’ hostels, eat at the robot restaurant and visit the Harajuku district to see everyone dressed in the craziest fashions.

Prague, Czech Republic
Home to the famous John Lennon wall and the largest ancient castle in the world, this city looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale. Prague is also one of Eastern Europe’s inexpensive cities that will be sure not to break the budget.

Ibiza, Spain
Ibiza has some of the most renowned nightclubs in the world, so you can party the night away to DJs such as David Guetta, Diplo and Steve Aoki. After fending off what is sure to be a killer hangover, the island is perfect for enjoying authentic Spanish food and swimming at one of the many crystal clear beaches. Unfortunately this is not a budget friendly destination!

Mexico
Full of colourful streets, tacos and tequila, beautiful hidden cenotes and amazing sandy beaches, what more could a girl want? A trip to Mexico is should be on everyones travel bucket list and is sure to make all of your instagram followers envious.

Pai, Thailand
This lazy town in Northern Thailand seems like the perfect place to chill in a hammock for days on end, without a care in the world. There are also plenty of things to do such as visiting the Pai canyon, waterfalls, caves, hot springs or just hanging out at one of the many cafes or bars.

New Orleans, USA
I have only heard great things from people who have been to New Orleans. It’s legal to drink alcohol in the street here if it’s in a plastic cup… Don’t mind if I do. They say New York is the city that never sleeps, but apparently Bourbon Street doesn’t either!

Sail Croatia
Yes I’ve been to Croatia (which I am absolutely in love with) but I haven’t done Sail Croatia, which is basically on the travel bucket list of every young 18-25 year old Aussie. A whole week of swimming, partying, and sailing from one gorgeous island to the next sounds like heaven (plus a few hangovers). I haven’t heard a single regret from anyone who has done one of these trips.

Ireland
The land of leprechauns and four-leaf clovers, right? Just kidding. With breathtaking scenery, historic castles, and tons of cool festivals like St. Patricks day, I can’t wait to visit this beautiful country and experience the craic of the Irish!

Budapest, Hungary
From massive bath parties to secret ruin bars in old abandoned buildings, Budapest is home to some of the hippest and liveliest nightlife in Europe. Budapest also holds the Sziget festival, which is one of the biggest music and cultural festivals in Europe!

I love this. I too seem to have a growing list of must visit destinations! Budapest and Prague are magical cities and there is nothing quite like walking down bourbon street with a fishbowl around your neck haha! Definitely agree with you about Sail Croatia I am definitely going to book it for next year!

Thanks Erin 🙂 I can’t wait to experience it all! I don’t know about you but it seems like everyones social media photos are of sail Croatia at the moment! I’m getting majorly itchy feet. Looking forward to following your UK adventures, a working visa is something I will probably be considering for myself!

I have been to nearly all of these and they are incredible places! If you do ever get to Tokyo, do the trip up to Nikko as well, its incredible! And if you do sail Croatia, don’t just do the sail, book your time in Croatia for longer, there’s so many more incredible places to see that you don’t get a chance to on the sail, but god its a wicked time!!

This is a great list of destinations! I’ve checked Ireland, Mexico, and New Orleans off my list, but I would love to go to all of those places again, and the others you mentioned too! I’d also love to go to Australia (like I already mentioned to you), Canada, and Hawaii!
