The trip was nearing the end and this morning was an elephant ride. We hopped in a van and I partnered up with Kahly to sit on the elephant. It was a little scary at first but we got used to it. We were taken around a jungle forest area and got many photos taken. Towards the end our elephant man encouraged us to hop down from our little seat and sit on the head of the elephant. I was afraid I was going to fall off! When we got back we headed down to a beachside café for lunch, I think it was Italian.

This afternoon us 7 girls went down to the beach. It was lovely and hot and we alternated between laying on the beach and swimming in the warm, crystal water.

We headed back to the hotel to get ready for more massages. Although I find it a bit awkward when someone else is touching me, its hard to resist when they are so cheap! After the first time I always made sure to tell them ‘no cracking’ so I didn’t freak out. After this we all went shopping and bought ‘I <3 Krabi’ singlet tops to wear out that night for our last night, so everyone could write on our tops. Unfortunately none of the stall holders would budge in their prices so we ended up paying around $7-8 for each top. We could have got cheaper tops in Phuket I’m sure.

Tonight we hopped into a big taxi thing and went down the road to a restaurant for dinner.

They had so much on the menu including lobsters that you could choose from a tank. It was kinda gross as they already looked half dead. I got a massive cocktail and massaman curry. After dinner we went around and wrote on peoples tops. I got a lot of nice messages from people although I hadn’t become that close to anyone besides our aussie girls. Someone even nicknamed us the Aussie Angels!
It was so sad that this was our last night but we headed to a bar for some last drinks and dancing. Although this wasn’t the best night of the trip, I got to spend it with amazing people!

Thank you so much 🙂 I think I replied to that on another post you commented on. I’m quite sure we arrived in Phuket around midday. But as I said, just get in Contact with Contiki if you need a more definite time!
