I don’t remember much of this morning but we checked out and got into vans to go back to Patong. Our flight wasn’t until the night so we had the day to do as we pleased. We had lunch with our Aussie girls, then said our goodbyes and parted ways, which was sad. We then went and got more massages, did some last minute shopping and had a ride in a disco tuk tuk (the driver blasted Lady Marmalade!), before heading to the airport.

It was super sad that this was the end of our journey as it was one of the most amazing times of my life!

Hey! Your blog looks awesome. I really want to do the Thailand Contiki and it seems like most people travelled in groups.. i will most likely be on my own. How did the other solo travellers fair on your trip? 🙂

Hey Lu, thanks for stopping by! There were actually quite a lot of solo travellers on my trip and everyone made friends with each other so I’m sure you’d be fine too 🙂 where are you from?

One of my friends has just solo’d through Europe and said it was one of the best experiences ever and that she has met so many new people.

I think after Thailand my next stop with be Yellowstone National Park and the Rocky Mountains! 🙂 It’s so hard to decide haha

Sounds rad 🙂 yeah I’ve heard that from people too, easily do-able but I’d still be nervous until I actually got there and made friends haha. Oh nice, I was up near that area last year it’s soo scenic! I agree though, it’s very hard to decide! I’m thinking Vietnam or NZ for my next trip. Do you have a blog I can follow?

Sydney is lovely 🙂 Yeah I have also, but I agree it’s quite nerve racking… I want to do a trip at the end of the year and wondering if I should go solo or not. Yeah Thailand is awesome, I’m hoping to one day go back and do a full moon party on Koh Phangan!

Hey Mel, thank you so much! I actually didn’t get any vaccinations for the trip although I know some doctors would recommend it. The Thai food was absolutely amazing! I am itching to go back just to eat it everyday haha.
    Becca 🙂
